Fall time is arguably the nicest time to be in the bush. The smell of wood smoke slowly buffeting out of the chimney, cool nights for sleeping and comfortable temperatures during the day with next to no bugs at all! Another advantage of being at camp in the fall is the superior fishing. Bigger fish get frisky as the water temperature cools and the quantity of fish increases. Imagine catching 50 walleyes by yourself right next to camp at Carroll lake in the evening or your entire group hammering walleyes one after another at Obukowin! Definitely something one must experience.
